About Lottery Long Shot
Lottery Long Shot is a probability simulator designed to visualize the reality of playing lottery games. It combines a responsive user interface with a high-speed random number generator to help users understand long-term odds and financial outcomes.
How to Use
Select Your Numbers: In the "Your Numbers" card, manually select numbers using the dropdowns or use the "Quick Pick All" button to randomly generate them. You can add up to 5 tickets per game.
Start Simulation: Click the ▶ Play button (or press Spacebar) to begin the drawing loop. The simulator will generate random winning numbers.
Turbo Mode: Click the ⚡ Turbo button to remove delays between draws, allowing you to simulate years of lottery play in seconds.
Analyze Results: Watch the "Money Stats" and "Game Stats" to track your net loss/gain and win rate over time.
Game Areas & Functions
Your Numbers: Your selected tickets. Matching balls will turn green when a win occurs.
Latest Drawing: Displays the most recent winning numbers generated. If a Jackpot is hit, a special overlay will appear.
Stats:
Game Stats: Tracks total games played, wins, and losses. Also displays a "Time Tracker" estimating how many weeks/years of real-world time you have simulated.
Money Stats: Calculates total money spent vs. total winnings.
Last 7 Games: A history log showing the winning numbers and the specific match outcome (e.g., "3 + Powerball") for the recent draws.
Prize Payouts: A reference table showing the exact prize amounts for your selected game (Powerball, Mega Millions, etc.) and how many times you have hit each prize tier.
Controls
Reset: Clears all history and stats to start fresh.
🌙/☀️ Icon: Toggles between Dark and Light mode.
